This was my 189th eatery on my quest to eat at every eatery within Vernon city limits. This was my first time here since it was known as the Blue Heron. Yes, it has been that long. We came here during happy hour at 2pm. Nachos were 18 instead of 24, and deep fried pickles were 9 instead of 14. So definitely one of the biggest happy hour discounts offered in town. That's a saving of over 10 right there. I paid approximately 34 after tax and tip for deep fried pickles, water, and a big plate of nachos. Our server was great. We ate inside because outside has a lot of bugs since it's right on the lake. Keep that in mind if you plan to eat outside. 189 eateries down, and only a few left before the quest in Vernon is over.

Overall, I had a really good experience at this place. What really stood out to me was the view it’s got an awesome view of the lake and the scenery beyond it, which made the whole vibe even better. The food was satisfying, and I was happy with the quality. The staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. They’ve got both indoor seating and a patio, which is nice depending on the weather. Parking was easy too. All in all, a positive experience, and I’d definitely recommend

Great place to stop for a beer and enjoy the view. Did not have any food so I can't rate the food. Will visit again. Thank you to our very pleasant server.

We had an amazing time with our friends at this welcoming spot! The atmosphere made us feel right at home, and we absolutely loved the new Winter All Day Happy Hour Menu. For just 7.58, we got to enjoy some delicious appetizers that really hit the spot. Bonus: playing pool is available in 1516, which was a great way to have fun with friends. We had such a great time and will definitely be back!

10/10 will be back. Great Atmosphere on the patio lakeside. Drinks were delicious as was the food. I had the Nachos with their house-made chips and they were some of the best I've ever had. Service was great and our waitress was very friendly. I will be back.

A must visit spot on Okanagan Lake! We had an amazing experience last night at 1516 Pub right on the shores of Okanagan Lake. The patio is absolutely unbeatable— such a vibrant atmosphere with stunning views of the water. It's the perfect place to unwind, enjoy the sunshine, and soak up the lively energy. The food and drinks were fantastic-fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. But what truly made our night was the incredible service. Our waitress, Carly, was outstanding! Her friendly, fun personality made us feel right at home, and her warm smile added a personal touch that's hard to find. She was attentive, efficient, and just a joy to chat with. There's something special about this place —from the beautiful setting to the amazing staff. I love supporting local businesses like 1516, and this one is a gem. Can't wait to come back!
